Deploying activities Final survey “Unmet demand for contraception methods of adolescents and youth in Quang Binh Province”
Quang Binh is one of the poorest province of the country. The province's population is 863,350 people in 2013 in which adolescent/youth account for 28%. The total fertility rate is 2.52 in 2015 and is higher than the national average. Universal access to information and services of reproductive health, sexual health, pre-marriage, family planning for adolescent/youth in the province is still limited.
With the technical assistance and financing of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), with the technical assistance and financing of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the project “Strengthening health systems to improve access to comprehensive reproductive health and family planning for adolescents and youth” has been implemented in Quang Binh province. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the project, the United Nations Population Fund in collaboration with the Health Strategy and Policy Institute has conducted the Final survey unmet demand for contraception methods of adolescents and young adults from 15 to 24 years in Quang Binh Province. In order to minimize errors when collecting information, the Health Strategy and Policy Institute has used tablet as a tool to do survey.
Training sessions of using tablet to interview From 18/09 to 25/09/2016, the survey team lead by Deputy Director Vu Thi Minh Hanh have conducted field surveys in 7 districts/town in Quang Binh province. The survey team working in Dong Son, Dong Hoi City Interviewing adolescent/youth in Bac Ly, Dong Hoi City The information obtained about sexual behavior, the use of contraception and the unmet needs for contraception would be important evidence to evaluate the effectiveness of the project. |
