Dissemination workshop of Project “Strengthening evidence-informed health policy in Vietnam”
Health Strategy and Policy Institute (HSPI) organized Dissemination workshop of Project “Strengthening evidence-informed health policy in Vietnam” funded by Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) on December 03 2012 at Fortuna Hotel, Hanoi. Participants of the workshop came from different departments of Ministry of Health, HSPI, representative of Australian partner - the University of New South Wales, representatives of AusAID and some International organizations in Vietnam. Besides that, there were leaders of provincial health bureaus (Ha Nam, Yen Bai, Hai Phong and Kien Giang) and district hospitals, health centers involving in studies conducted within the framework of project. At the workshop, leader of HSPI summarized project’s contributions to health policy development in Vietnam in the period 2009-2012. During 3 years, project supported in terms of both finance and technique to conduct 9 researches in the field of primary health care, health financing, human resource and health service delivery as well as to organize numbers of workshops and policy forums. Findings from project’s studies provided valuable evidences for development as well as revision of some health policies in Vietnam last time.
