HSPI’s new Director appointment annoucement ceremoney (12/12/2013)

On 9 December 2013, Health Strategy and Policy Institute (HSPI) held an official announcement ceremony about the decision of the Minister of Health appointing Dr. Tran Thi Mai Oanh, Deputy Director of HSPI, as the new director of the Institute in the presence of Prof. Dr. Le Quang Cuong - Vice Minister of Health (MOH); Mr. Pham Van Tac - Director of Department of Organization and Personnel, Dr. Nguyen Ngo Quang –Deputy Director of the Administration for Science, Technology and Training; Dr. Pham Thi Thanh Binh - Deputy Chief of the Cabinet Office of the Ministry of Health; HSPI vice directors, leaders of departments and researchers.


Study “Investigate the possibility of integrating HIV/AIDS outpatient clinics into state hospitals”: survey in Dien Bien province (10/12/2013)

The study is conducted in An Giang, Dien Bien and Nghe An province. After the fieldtrip in An Giang with positive preliminary findings, from November 27th to November 29th 2013, HSPI continued to survey in Nghe An and Dien Bien province, simultaneously. In each province, HSPI worked with: Provincial Department of Health, Provincial General Hospital, Provincial HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Centers, District Health Centers, and OPCs.

Professional training for non-state medical and pharmaceutical practitioners at Hai Duong and Binh Dinh (02/02/2013)

Within the intervention framework of the project “Non-state sector studies for Health in Vietnam” funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, Health Strategy and Policy Institute (HSPI) organized two training courses at two intervention districts, which are Kim Thanh district, Hai Duong province (18th and 19th January 2013) and Hoai Nhon district, Binh Dinh province (25th and 26th January 2013), chaired by Dr. Tran Thi Mai Oanh – Deputy Director of HSPI.
