Within framework of project “Non-state sector studies for Health in Vietnam” funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, the Health Strategy and Policy Institute (HSPI) has been collaborating with the Provincial Department of Health of Hai Duong/Binh Dinh Province and the District Health Bureau of Kim Thanh district (Hai Duong)/Hoai Nhon district (Binh Dinh) in implementing a number of intervention activities in regard to strenthening state management; providing information of relevant legal documents and professional knowledge for non-state medical and pharmaceutical practitioners...
Within the intervention framework of the project “Non-state sector studies for Health in Vietnam” funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, Health Strategy and Policy Institute (HSPI) organized two training courses at two intervention districts, which are Kim Thanh district, Hai Duong province (18th and 19th January 2013) and Hoai Nhon district, Binh Dinh province (25th and 26th January 2013), chaired by Dr. Tran Thi Mai Oanh – Deputy Director of HSPI.

September 7, 2012, Health Strategy and Policy Institute (HSPI) held a conference with Rockefeller Foundation’s experts, regarding the research activities funded by the Rockefeller Foundation. Participants included Director of HSPI - Prof. Dr. Le Quang Cuong, representative Heads of HSPI’s departments, and experts from Rockefeller Foundation, which were Mrs. Jeanette Vega - the Executive Director of Health sector - Rockefeller Foundation, USA; Mr. Mushtaque Chowdhury - the Deputy Director of Rockefeller in the Asia - Pacific region, Senior Adviser of Health sector - Rockefeller Foundation; Mr. Stefan Nachuk - Expert of Rockefeller Foundation, and Ms. Natalie Phaholyothin - Assistant Director of Rockefeller Foundationin the Asia - Pacific Region.
